Dan K. Wolford, Senior Pastor

Danny was raised in New Point Indiana & graduated from North Decatur High School in 1971. Danny then attended St. Louis Christian College, where he earned a B.S. in Christian Education in 1975. Danny married Barbara Verbeck, also a graduate of North Decatur, in 1973. Their three older children were born in Greensburg, Anisha in 1976, Joshua in 1978, Carrie in 1980.

The Wolford’s moved to Cisne, Illinois in 1984 where Danny served as the preaching minister at Cisne Christian Church. In 1988 the Wolford’s moved to Florissant, Missouri where Danny served at his alma mater, St. Louis Christian College. During his tenure at SLCC, Danny served as the Athletic Director, Men’s Basketball Coach, Admissions Counselor, Den of Men, and Professor & Director of Enrollment Growth. While in St. Louis the Wolford’s were blessed with another addition to their family in 1997 when Heidi was born. Danny, Barbara and Heidi moved back to Greensburg in 2002 to become the 48 th Senior Pastor in First Christian Church’s 173 year history.





Joshua K. Wolford, Associate Pastor – Youth Ministry

Josh was born in Greensburg and lived in Decatur County for just a few years until his family moved to Cisne, Illinois and then eventually to Florissant, Missouri where Josh grew up. Josh graduated from McCluer North High School in 1996 and then graduated from St. Louis Christian College with a B.S. in Christian Education in 2001.

Josh then served as the Sports and Activities Director at Harvester Christian Church in St. Charles, Missouri before moving back to Greensburg in 2003 to serve at First Christian Church. Josh married Jaime in August of 2001. They have 2 sons, Myles born in 2003 and Blake in 2005.







Dorothy A. Mahan - Church Secretary

A native of Decatur County, Dorothy was born and raised on the family farm east of Westport, Indiana, and graduated from Sandcreek High School. Dorothy worked for Indiana Bell Telephone Company in Indianapolis as a secretary and the Rush County School System as a tutor for several years until 1988 when she began serving as secretary of the First Christian Church of Greensburg.

Dorothy and husband Richard, a lifelong farmer, live on the Decatur and Rush County line. Richard and Dorothy have been blessed with two daughters, Karen and Nancy, son-in-laws, and five grandsons and one granddaughter.
